STEP 1 Experiment with the flowers to get an idea of how you are going to place them on the candle. Once you start, you will need to work quickly, so be ready.

STEP 2 Melt paraffin wax in the foil pan in an electric skillet or pan filled with 1" of water on the stove. Keep the wax in the water bath to keep it liquid.

STEP 3 With the paint brush, paint a little wax on the candle where you wish to place the first flower.

STEP 4 Gently press the flower on the wax. Repeat with the remaining blossoms and/or leaves.

STEP 5 When you are satisfied with the placement, hold the candle at each end and dip the side of candle in the wax. Use a smooth motion when dipping, and do not hesitate during the dip. Lift the candle out of the wax. Make sure the blossoms are completely covered and there are no air bubbles. If not, dip again.

STEP 6 Let the wax shell cool and harden over the blossoms. (It will look cloudy when it first comes out but will dry clear.)

STEP 7 Buff the finished candle with a piece of soft nylon stocking for a shiny finish.
