Fish Korma
Surmai fish 1 kg (cut in katale)
Onion 2 no.
yougurt 1 cup
salt 1 tsp
red chili pwd 2 tsp
haldi 1/2 tsp
dhaniya pwd 2 tsp
kasori methi 1 1/2 tbsp
kari patta 7-8 nos.
ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
sabat garam masla (bari illaichi 3-4 pieces, long 5-6 no., black pepper 10-12 pieces)
garam masala pwd 2 tsp
dar chini 3-4 sticks
methi dana 1/2 tsp
in a cup of water mis together salt, red chili pwd, haldi and dhaniya pwd.
in a pan heat oil and brown the onions in it .
put these onions and yougurt in a blender and belnd well
in the oil put kari pata , dar chini, and methi dana . when it starts to kur kur add ginger garlic paste and saute it.
add teh masla mixed in water and bhoon lo
add the yougurt mixture and mix well . bhoon ko achi tarha
add teh sabat garma masla and teh 1 tsp garam masla pwd and mix.
now add the fish and avoid chamach marna. add 1 cup water and let it cook. do not put the lid on otherwise teh fish will break dur to teh steam. just semi cover the pan.
when the oil comes up add teh kasoori methi and the 1 tsp of garam masala .
put it on dam for 5 minutes and dish out.
