Masoor ki Daal Chicken


1/2 kg masoor ki daal (boil it with 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp red chili pwd, 1/2 tsp haldi, 2 sticks dar chini, 5-6 cloves garlic)

1/2 kg boneless chicken (can use chicken with bones as well)
onion 2 No. Big sized
Chopped tomatoes 4 no.
sabat garam masala (darchini 2 sticks, bari illaichi 3 no., safed zeera 1 tbsp, long 7-8 no.,black pepper whole 10- 12 pieces)

kari patta 10-12 no.
imli 1 tbsp (6-7 No.)
hari mirch 5-6 no.
ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp each
cinamon pwd 1/2 tsp (dar chini pwd)
salt 1 tsp
red chili pwd 2 tsp
haldi 1/2 tsp
garam masala pwd
dhaniya pwd 1 1/2 tbsp

in a little water add salt, red chili pwd, haldi, dhaniya pwd and 1 tbsp garam masala.

in oil light pink the onions. add the sabat garam masala, kari patta and ginger garlic paste and saute it

add tomatoes and the masala mixed in water

bhoon lo

add chicken and achi tarha bhoon lo (chicken and tomatoes ne jo pani choora ho ga uss main paka lo . bohat achi taraha bhoona hia k yaq jan ho jaye)

add 5-6 whole green chili, imli, boiled daal, water as required, cinamon pwd, 1 tsp garam masala pwd and mix well

put on dam for some time and dish out

garnish with hara dhaniya and whole green chilies

serve with fried peper , butter rice and kachoomar salad
