Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari has said he has not tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan as neither is he nominated in any corruption reference nor he is accused of theft.

“My case is different from the ministers who have resigned,” Bukhari told media on Friday in reference to Azam Swati and Babar Awan who have had to step down within months after the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government came to power.
“My case is that of dual nationality, not of any theft. The Supreme Court will decide this matter,” he said, adding that his name may be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).
