PNS Badr (ex-HMS Gabbard) was one of the two Battle class destroyers acquired by the Pakistan Navy in 1956. Badr was transferred to the Maritime Security Agency in 1986 and renamed MSS Indus. She served as the Headquarters ship of the agency until being paid off in 1990.

PNS Badr showing her newly constructed bow which had suffered damage due to heavy seas while negotiating the 9 degree channel during return passage from Chittagong in Sep 1971. Visible on aft mast are HF/DF, UA-3 electronic counter measures (ECM) aerial and IFF antenna fitted during a refit in the late 1960s. Also visible is the antenna of the SNW-12 air warning radar fitted in a refit during 1967.
