Ingredients
½ kg Yogurt
½ cup moong dal ( split green gram)
½ cup maash dal ( white lentil )
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Cumin powder ( zeera powder)
1 tsp Garam masala powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
salt to taste
½ tsp Baking powder
CHAT MASALA :
Whole red chillies 8 -10
whole cumin seed 2 tsp
black salt 1/2 tsp
SAUNT KI CHUTNEY :
1 inch piece saunt
1 tsp red chilli powder
salt to taste
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
Directions
Soak the lentils over night .
Grind them in a mixer and add the rest of the ingredients .
Now fry them and soak in water for sometime
Lay them in a dish .Keep it aside .
Beat the yogurt and add salt to taste and pour over the baras.
Roast the red chillies and cumin and grind it powder add the black salt .
Make the chutney by adding and boiling the liquid till thick and a little sticky .
Pour the sant ki chutney and cat masala over the dahi baras to make it perfect .
