Right click on "My Computer" and select Properties, click the Advanced Tab, Click Settings in the Performance section. Scroll down the list and put a check in the box for "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop".

can you please try this:


1.Remove all Active desktop items :
-Right click Desktop
-Properties
-Desktop tab
-'Customize desktop' button
-Web tab
-Uncheck all items and click OK twice.

2. Uncheck Lock icons :
-Right click Desktop
-Point to Arrange icons by
-Uncheck "Lock web items"

Arrange Icons By > Lock Web items on Desktop

it will be check so just uncheck it! hope it will work!

However, may nay or redvirus nay jo instruction di.. us say wo theek ho jana chaiye..

On the Visual Effects tab, check Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop.
