the other way to give rep with comment is simple..

just click on this icon

make sure you check "I Approve" for positive rep, then add comments and click "add to rep"

Sorry what nelli said above. Rep can also decrease.. IF you click the REP button and choose "I DISAPPROVE" it will go down.
and from Inside news, Soon there will be new feature for "thumbs down" .. So you can decrease someone respect.
Of-course, there will be some conditions, to prevent misuse.

I would choose not to close this thread for now!!
